Stratford Upon Avon

We had an excellent trip to Stratford yesterday.   In the morning, the children used their observation skills and map reading skills to follow a town trail which took in the major Shakespearean sites in the town.

Following lunch by the river, the children  participated in a drama workshop with members of the Royal Shakespeare Company.  Here, they explored the characters in Macbeth, and were introduced to some of the original language from the play. DSCF2111

  1. When we all went to Stratford to visit the Shakespeare Theatre and exploring his life as we walked around the town, I particularly liked when we did a statue act and reading that paper on the floor like when I said”Strong as a Man!” Ali Foster
